Silly minds

I don't know what I was thinking , but I totally forgot to take pictures of two of my outgoing letters . :( I hope that the receivers take photos of them because they were neat . Does anyone else ever have the paranoia that once you let your letter go through the post you think it's not going to get there ? I think the thing that has made me think this way is that I have a few traveling postcards on postcrossing that have been travelling for 45 days !! Does anyone have any experiences of complete losses or longer than normal arrival times via postcrossing or just regular post ?
